About Emma

Emma is a psychotherapist and creative coach based in New York City. Her path to this work began in the world of art and fashion, where she developed a deep appreciation for creative process, personal style, and the quiet power of introspection.
Over time, her creative life evolved into a therapeutic calling. Emma now supports individuals in navigating their emotional lives, reclaiming their voice, and finding balance between inner growth and outer expression. Her work is grounded in clinical training and shaped by an understanding that healing is not separate from creativity, identity, or intuition.
Emma holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington. Her practice integrates psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based tools, and coaching grounded in strengths and self-trust.
Through this blend, Emma helps clients uncover their patterns, soften inner resistance, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. Her approach is collaborative and embodied, shaped by each person’s unique story, cultural background, and goals.
Emma is also a certified yoga teacher, meditation guide, and creative consultant. She believes in the intelligence of the body, the wisdom of emotion, and the importance of cultivating spaces where people feel safe enough to expand.
Her work supports artists, deep feelers, innovators, and anyone seeking clarity and grounded transformation in their inner and outer worlds.
